There has been much confusion regarding your official position and ability to use the available Powers of Congress as outlined by the authors of the Constitution in order to demonstrate fiscal responsibility to pay the nation's bills. The massive accumulating national debt, still unchecked, and the ideological gridlock preventing balanced solutions within the halls of Congress leads many to believe that there is an entity or force outside of the Constitutional Powers of Congress purposely disabling you from carrying out those important duties. By signing this document, you will help clear up this confusion and also assure your constituents that no entity, person or ideology has come between you and the U.S. Constitution. The Reaffirmation Pledge
